A legislative act was passed in 1921 for the enlargement and alteration of the Florida State Capitol (Ch. 8422, Laws). The Board of Commissioners of State Institutions approved the drawings, plans, and specifications for the alterations and additions submitted by the architect, Henry John Klutho, of Jacksonville, Florida.
